Bastions are passion incarnate. Every spat word, every tortured note, every painful beat tears emotion away from your head and shoves it back into your heart.
Bastions are a rare breed of band in that can actually defy a genre description. Cutting their teeth on the toilet circuit rather than the internet, the band relentlessly toured the UK over the last year with a schedule that would have most bands weeping.
The band is known for an intense and emotional live performance; with their sheer energy and power cutting swathes through any audience catching a glimpse of the event.
2011 has already seen them support Gallows on their UK tour and playing both Main Stage and Rocksound stage for Hevy Festival.
'Hospital Corners' Bastions debut album will be available late October 2011. This release sees a really step forward in songwriting for the band. they have created an album that will get them noticed in the UK and overseas!

2nd May 2012 Bastions June 2012 tour with Crossbreaker Bastions will be plying their trade around England from the 8th - 12th of June, along with Crossbreaker. Make sure you catch these guys live it's a hell of a life changer!
History of The Hawk will also be joining the guys on their Birmingham date.

14th Dec 2011 Bastions debut 'Hospital Corners' announced as one of Kerrangs albums of 2011 Check out this week's issue of Kerrang with Bastions getting in their top albums of 2011 list!! Total well derserved for the guys and tops a great year for them. 2012 is gonna be massive.
