| Screaming their way out of Norwich, Tortuga (formed from the ashes of November Coming Fire, xCanaanx & Bossk) whilst only starting back in January 07 have already built up a reputation in the underground for being vicious, progressive, and unpredictable in their musical style.Not surprising, seeing as they take their influences from such bands as Breather Resist, Jesus Lizard, Botch, Refused, Breach & Black Sabbath. Made up of John - Guitar, Alex - Guitar, Greg - Bass, Gareth - Vocals & Simmons - Drums, this five piece are set on remolding all the stagnant preconceptions of heavy music.
'Kings Of Albany' was packed with complications from the start, the artwork took forever, the recording was the same.. and still to be honest could have been better. but what you get is a raw album of pain and anguish total unique from it's peers.

Tortuga decided to call it a day at the end of 2009, and Gareth recently has reformed November Coming Fire.
